How much do you know about the introduction of rare medical films

Thin films are widely used in the medical field, and common medical films include PP infusion bag films, medical tube bag films, pharmaceutical bag films, instrument stretching bottom films, PVC dialysis bag films, etc. In fact, there are some medical films that are relatively rare in medical practice. Below, we will briefly introduce three types of medical films for reference.
1. Burn skin grafting plastic film
Burn treatment often requires skin grafting on patients, and common skin grafting materials are mainly divided into three types: animal native materials, synthetic foam polyurethane films, and plant native materials. The synthetic foam polyurethane film is achieved through artificial synthesis technology, so its future application and promotion prospects are the greatest. It is less affected by material supply. In addition to foam polyurethane, PVC and nylon are generally also used as skin grafting absorption layer materials. Generally, the skin grafting film adopts a double-layer structure. In order to prevent liquid evaporation and bacterial invasion, the outer layer density of the film is higher, and the skin grafting thickness is generally uneven. The pore distribution density of skin grafting foam polyurethane is about 200-300 per square centimeter, and it is required to be able to adjust the number and size of pores in the layer.
Skin graft name, composite burn skin graft. Structure: Double layered structure, elastic porous skin grafting, composed of an upper layer of 0.005-0.01mm and a soft nylon fabric base layer, which is a combination of hydrophilic components and elastic silicon film. Ingredients: Silicone as the main layer, polyurethane as the bottom layer;
Synthetic skin grafting. Structure: Double layered, elastic and porous skin grafting. Thickness 0.2mm. Ingredients: Polyurethane as the main layer, PP as the upper layer;
Synthetic burn skin grafting. Structure: Single layer skin grafting on the gauze substrate, with large pores and moderate flexibility. Ingredients: Polyurethane;
Synthetic wound skin grafting. Structure: Anticorrosive double-layer skin grafting, with polyurethane as the main layer, pore size of 0.1-0.5mm, and upper layer thickness of 0.1mm. Composition: Polyurethane
Non damaging skin grafting. Structure: A large and porous skin graft on a woven nylon substrate. polyamide
In general, skin grafting for burns requires the following functions: to absorb Exudate from wounds, including metabolites and toxic substances; Provide optimal water, air, and heat exchange between wounds and air; Prevent the wound from being invaded by bacteria in the air.
2. Antibacterial medical functional film
General antibacterial medical films are mainly used for packaging or preservation of medical devices and medical items. They are generally divided into the following types of antibacterial functional films based on raw materials, production processes, and antibacterial needs
Adding silver zeolite film: Generally, silver zeolite can catalyze the production of reactive oxygen species in a certain environment. Generally, silver zeolite is produced by mixing with polyethylene or polypropylene, coextrusion blown film, or casting method.
Adding or coating antibacterial and antibacterial agent film: Antibacterial and antibacterial agents are divided into two types: absorbent and releasing. The absorbent antibacterial and antibacterial agent contains a hygroscopic agent, which can absorb the moisture inside the packaging bag and reduce the humidity inside the bag to inhibit the growth of microorganisms; The releasing antibacterial and bacteriostatic agent is to add bacteriostatic agent to the co extruded film, and the film will slowly release bacteriostatic gas, such as releasing porous silica material to absorb the olefins that lead to the deterioration of the packaging. The gas releasing antibacterial and bacteriostatic material includes tanutol, Vanillyl alcohol, etc.
The solution coating method applies a zirconium compound solution to the surface of the film, which can emit infrared radiation, and then dries it to remove it
