The Function and Application of Plastic Round Bottom Bag

A plastic round bottomed bag is a plastic bag with a round bottom, which is a special round bottomed container for barreled products. The bag body is a round barrel, and the bottom is a flat bottom. After folding the bag in half, it becomes a flat shape. The bottom is usually made by hand hot pressing, and the workmanship is usually semi manual. Therefore, compared to flat bags, round bottomed bags have a much higher price, not due to material costs, but because the sealing edge requires manual production, resulting in much higher labor costs.
Plastic round bottomed bags are commonly used in silicone factories to hold liquid silicone. Most of them are PE round bottomed bags, mainly placed inside an iron bucket and then filled with liquid silicone. The round bottomed bag effectively prevents the silicone from coming into contact with the bucket, allowing the bucket to be reused repeatedly and reducing production costs for the enterprise.
The function of a round bottom bag is to adapt to the container and prevent the items inside the bag from getting damp. As an inner lining bag, it prevents the occurrence of oxidation, solidification, and other situations of items, silicone or other liquids. Round bottom bags are widely used in the silicone industry, especially in the export silicone industry. Liquid silicone is prone to leakage when directly loaded into a drum. After adding a cylindrical round bottom bag, the round bottom plastic bag tightly adheres to the drum set, and the silicone is not easy to seep out after being loaded into the drum, Generally, the silicone that is loaded into the drum is in a high-temperature state, so products generally have high requirements for the high-temperature resistance and tear resistance of the round bottom bag. Therefore, modified materials such as metallocene and POE are usually added to the formula of the round bottom bag to increase its tear resistance.
